After reading the first chapter of Radical Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream by David Platt, you start thinking how have I missed it and how has our churches missed it. It seems like everyone is caught up in the American Dream including the church. From just the first chapter it will make you step back and think hard about your life and what is important. This is one of my favorite books the i have read.
